Robinhood, Meta, and Microsoft outperformed earnings expectations, driving significant stock gains. Robinhood's shares climbed 2.69% to $103.32 in regular trading, with a further rise to $103.98 after hours. Meta surged over 10%, while Microsoft gained 8%, pushing its market capitalization beyond $4.1 trillion.
Robinhood reported a 99% year-over-year increase in platform assets, reaching $279 billion. Net deposits for Q2 totaled $13.8 billion, contributing to $58 billion over twelve months—a 25% annualized growth. Transaction-based revenue jumped 65% to $539 million, fueled by a 112% rise in equity volumes and a 32% increase in options contracts traded.
